Overview

What happens when you delete your account.

Deleting your Flewte account is a permanent action. When you confirm deletion, your account and related data are removed from our system and can’t be recovered later.

Data that will be removed

When you delete your account, the following are removed from Flewte:

  • Your profile and account information.
  • All Notebook posts, Video posts, and images you’ve uploaded.
  • Your followers and the connections you’ve built within the Flewte community.

Protégé & business relationships

If your account is connected to businesses in the app, deletion affects those relationships.

  • Any active Protégé status with a business is removed when your account is deleted.
  • If you create a new Flewte account later, businesses will need to reassign Protégé status to that new profile.
Your options

Delete account vs deactivate account.

You can permanently delete your account or temporarily deactivate it if you just need a break from Flewte.

Delete Account (Permanent)

Choose this option if you’re sure you no longer want to use Flewte.

  • Your account, posts, images, followers, and connections are removed from our system.
  • You lose any active Protégé status with businesses.
  • If you return later, you’ll need to create a new account from scratch.

Deactivate Account (Temporary)

Choose this option if you just need some time away from the platform.

  • Your posts, followers, and other account data remain stored in our database.
  • Your profile is no longer visible and you can’t use Flewte while deactivated.
  • When you’re ready to return, log back in and your account will be reactivated.
Steps

How to delete your account from the app.

You can start the deletion process directly from within the Flewte mobile application.

From the Flewte mobile app

Follow these steps on your device to request account deletion:

  1. Open the Flewte app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap the hamburger menu (≡) to open the main menu.
  3. Look for and select the "Delete Account" option in the menu.
  4. Review the information about what will happen to your data.
  5. Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.
